As I look just now, my 2005 E53 has 158,894 miles, biggest repair bill was the passenger door handle. Always has been maintained, with no drivetrain or powertrain issues, other than a screwy sensor once or twice. No guarantees of how well it will keep that reputation, since it recently went from my 50 year old father's hands into my 17 year old hands. The mechanic says the engine has a lot less oil build up than it used to, so I guess i'm doing something right.
