The ball joint at the end of the air spring will unscrew. Bring that with to the store for size. If you have an old school store with the springs find the longest spring that will just fit over the shaft then a spring with the opposite wind that Judy fits over that that is slightly shorter.
This combination pushes much harder at the bottom where needed but pulls down nicer
I just found a photo I took and I forgot the inner spring was shorter and outer was longer (was actually made from two). Also notice there are some brass washers on the ends.
I did this fix on wife's car it works perfectly in summer but in winter when the nitrogen is cold the struts don't pull ther their share and it won't lift all the way
