And at risk of sounding like a broken record, clean out the dipstick return channel that drains the CCV. As in, remove the dipstick guide tube, and thouroughly clean the crap out of the small channel in the MAIN TUBE that returns oil to the sump. It's not enough to clean the small elbow; in my experience, that just pushes crud further down. Or consider fitting the cold weather dipstick.

When the new engine was put in, all the cold weather stuff was updated. Very frustrating [emoji34]. Need to get car up to Indy but gun shy to drive the 5 miles. At least with the catch can setup, I can more easily inspect the hoses during a cold winter but sadly, I may need to sell her because the car needs to be reliable in all weather conditions.
