That's why I figured you will have to pry the socket on with a big lever (crowbar) and use a piece of wood so you won't crush something on the other side.

The bostich spline sockets are amazing. Recently when changing an electric water pump on a 328xi, I couldn't get the correct eTorx bit on and was able to use just the right size of spline socket
