Had to separate the 14 mm hex tip from its socket and use a box end wrench to loosen the bolt. Was a bit tricky but got it done.

Drained oil looked creamy white in the rear. The front wasn't too dark (had a reddish tint to it). New oil is almost clear.

Took the car for a test drive. No change in driveability.

All in all wasn't too hard of a job once i figured out how to get the 14 mm hex tip in the fill plug.

Cheers!

I had similar issues with the front. I ended up popping the 14mm part out of the allen socket and putting it into a small 14mm socket. That gave me room to get it past from the driver wheel well with a long extension and swivel. I used a bit of tape around the key to keep the key in the socket. The smaller socket helped a lot compared to the large 1/2" drive harbor freight Allen socket that hit the lines.

So we both essentially had the same idea to get it done.
