Just picked it up from my local BMW Indy shop to get a once over. Turned out a lot better than I expected. System was showing 6 faults for the self leveling system. The PO has a lot of parts changed by a shop that didn’t have the software to clear the faults. My shop cleared it all, took it on a 60 mile road test and all checks out. Suspension is all working correctly. Raises and lowers. No issues. Best case scenario on that. Stuff he mentioned,
Oil service
Air filter and cabin air filter
Coolant flush as I guess at some point the wrong coolant was added
Front thrust rod bushings
Front pads and rotors
Drive shaft flex disc cracked
And that was all. I was quoted $2k for the above maintenance. Does that seem fair?
