Yep and if someone told me to change my maf back then or even suggested it I wouldn't of done it without more to go on
So that leaves "its old and couldn't hurt" or "at least I will have a spare if that isn't it".
Again I cant promise it will fix it but it did for me.
The one I went with was around $130 or something from oem bimmerparts.
