I replaced the aux pump and expansion tank first. I did see the stream of coolant when I did the bleed with engine not on. I didn’t wait too long and started the engine up to temp. No heat from vents. not air con cold but definately air blowing. So, then I replaced the heater control valve and did the bleed again with cap off (not sure if i had the bleed screw undone this time). Tried doing the bleed again later no stream of coolant from top of tank. Will try again later.
