My brother in law came over on the weekend for me to help him plug his tire, and after getting the wheel off, everything ready, we found that it was not even a real puncture. Pulled the object out and it had only gone in about 3/16" below the surface - between treads so there was more of that sticking up above. So of course, no repair was made.

Actually I have no apparent leak I do not know if the screw is self sealing or does not go in far enough to be a problem. Since the tire is run on flat and I have a spare and power tools for changing a tire on the road I don't need to pull it out to find out.
