Just to provide an update -
- Installed the new Hose (that comes without a hole for the sensor) - fits perfectly
- Bought the required "Resistance" part (at the Dealer) that connects to the electrical plug to "simulate" (=override) the old sensor; it comes with a small strap to attach the -now hanging there- stuff.
So far, after -only- a few days of usage no alarms/issues, although I'm obviously surprised of the implicit recommended fix (e.g. "
lets just override the sensor") in the upcoming Summer Weather.......
