But it seems odd that something let loose suddenly like this after a couple of weeks of no leak. Similar for OFHG. I don't see how those would go from tight to blowing oil so quickly.

On the other hand, there are some CCV lines with pinch- or twist-lock fittings in the vicinity there. I can see how one of those could have been on well enough to seal, and then popped off. So I'd keep that in mind while tracking down the source.
