I managed to get the relearn process to work but will get to that shortly....

With no known service history of the car when I bought it I just went through the process of changing all the fluids and other little service issues these cars are known for, hence the mechatronic sleeve and adaptor sleeve replacement and because I cant help myself I thought I would tackle the adaption relearn as well(not knowing how involved it was at the time, I definitely wouldn't advise doing it just cause). I had done approximately 4000km after the oil change and before the sleeve\adaptor seal change. All other solenoids worked how they should during the relearn process except No4. After a lot of conflicting research in regards to zf 6 vs penrite, i used penrite multi vehicle full synthetic atf bmv fluid. I initially thought the No4 solenoid may be faulty so will investigate that further down the track.
I checked the solenoids with Inpa and it said they were all working correctly.
