TomTomGO's are pretty incredible. I've owned the 300 & 700 models. A couple month's ago, a man who spoke little English asked for directions very frantically, showing me & my mechanic a piece of paper with two street names. I plugged in the intersection & hit "play demo" and it showed a movie of how to get there, turn by turn. He calmed down & smiled really big- on his way again.... Pretty cool feature. The 700 series also has Bluetooth handsfree & traffic updates & a bunch else, which I use daily. If you're looking for something basic, it might be overkill. Retails $700+ but can be found used around $400-550. They're coming out with new models, so folks're trading up.
