I can't decide if this is a good measure or bad. I get the point of stoping drunks from hitting the roads but in my area, cops just sit outside the bar at 2am and wait to see if the drunks try to drive.

"being in a bar does not exempt you from the state law" of not being drunk. Well that is all well and good but I'm pretty sure any bar you go in to at mid-night, has quite a few drunk people in it. If peeps there weren't drunk, would they really pay 5.95 for a Miller Lite?


As for the "people do lots of other things beside drive when their drunk" comment, ahh that is Darwin's survival of th fitest. If you believe jumping 9 stories into a swimming pool will work, well good luck with it.

Seems a little on the entrapment side...IMO.
