Most of the Android units I looked at allow you to use a downloaded nav app. You can use the unit supplied nav antenna or retrofit a factory. We have the factory nav in the '13 and it seldom gets used. I would usually only use nav for the last quarter mile in most cases or to spot when to turn into the road my destination in on.
In rural SW MO you are better off learning 3 different routes to any place you hold important because roads and bridges can disappear in one good gullywhomper.
