I'm looking to freshen up a few parts and have being doing so slowly but surely and now I feel its time to do this with the Vanos solenoids.. However, going BMW is just not the approach I'd want to go with due to, well, the mark up. Although ECS has a pretty good deal on them at the moment..

What brand are ppl going with when replacing these? I've seen BMW, Gates, Holstein and Vaico..
