Like , IBS cable, Junction Box (JBE)... these cars have modules that hang on various busses, waiting for control signals and voltages to hit certain numbers. If the control is hosed, you can get these 'christmas tree' error reports. Check out your ground straps too.


There is a reason this car showed up at auction..... I actually recall a doctor (MD) who bought a brand new X5 and brand new 535 from Sandy. Figured it would be a fun project. He didnt have a code reader; didnt have ISTA...didnt know how to read BMW schematics. Figured he would just take it all apart and clean contacts.
