I was really leaning towards the 4.8 but since the new X will be out, I really don't see the point anymore to get the old style...

I'd rather have a 650 then the M5 IMO.

HP/TQ numbers:
4.8 X5 - 355/369
5.0 M5 - 500/383
I like the 650i but it is too small for me...But that is interesting about the torque. I agree about the snow and needing something else to drive in the winter.
