So I picked up 2 sets of style 214s and a nice used set of Michelin Latitude Tour tires. I went back and forth on what to go with and finally decided this is best for me. I would have ideally chosen a 285/40 by I refuse to run Runflats if possible to avoid. I know the tires are 0.3" taller than stock but it seemed to be a good compromise for running a squared setup. My question is, has anyone done this setup on the e53?
I did a wheel test fit and it actually bolts up without rubbing the strut. I think a 315 would barely rub the strut depending on tire brand.
If not I guess this will be the thread where someone tries.
I also bought a tire changer (tired of paying shops to change my tires). It arrives tomorrow.
