I wish there was, but there's no way to tell visually whether its both off or just stability off. The user guide says its there, and I've heard it mentioned in many places so I think its safe to assume its true. However, I personally haven't tried anything that severely pushes the limits. In fact, I've only gotten DSC to intervene once on dry corners. All the countless other times it was either wet or snow/slushy (and usually unintentional).
