Highly agreed. I've taken mine and my mom's older bmw to various mechanics and indy shops locally (unfortunately, not too many or most reliable apparently), and they've done nothing but misdiagnose issues, forget to put parts back, and just be generally worse off than before bringing the car to get serviced. I've resorted to just doing evrything myself (within reason) for this exact reason. Their asking prices alone will kill ya!
