I've been searching and can find little info about the difference between rear diffs in the pre and LCI models. From what I can garner BMW went to ball bearings with plastic cages in the LCI update. So my question is will a pre LCI (roller bearing diff) fit into an LCI model - are the physical dimensions and mounting points all the same? I have a 2.5 (3.91 ratio) auto with stuffed bearings/whine and it is difficult to get the LCI diff in Australia. Any info would be very helpful. Cheers
