And you are letting them fix it at any old fly by night shop?
You should pay a few $hundred and have a real lawyer look into this ASAP. If you wait a few weeks, you loose any slight leverage you have. Before they do much work, before they attempt to ship it to you...there should be a very sharply written letter. Fraud, known defects, etc, etc. They probably knew it had issues, patched it up and sold it with a warranty and now are charging the repairs to your warranty.
But you wont.
