Coolant leak from the rear of the engine

Your first sign of the transfer pipe leak will be in the front of the engine. From the weep hole behind and to the side of the water pump. In the back of the engine it would most likely be do to a valley pan leak or the “rear cover.” Both have been known to leak. More so after the engine has been sitting after driving. Sometimes a shop thinks the valley pan leak at the rear is the rear cover when it isn’t.
