Just adding to this. I believe you can verify if it is the rear cover leak or not fairly easily. If I remember correctly there are 3 caps on the bottom of the bell house where the transmission meets the engine. If you pop one off you would be able to stick a finger or something in there to see if the coolant is dripping from within. If it is in fact dripping from inside there then you would most likely be able to confirm or eliminate a leaking point.
