The one regulator I had to replace I swapped the original motor onto a used regulator I bought for ~$30, threw on new clips/sliders, and a couple zip ties for good measure. Doubt I'll have to do the job again.

LOL...I did threw on a couple of zip ties for the front too...I guessed better safe than..., but can't do it for the rears. Had thought about just replacing the clips, but not sure if I can trust the qualities of those ebay clips...most likely 3D printed. Also, I didn't want to deal with having an unassembled door if those clips didn't work out...so I just bit the bullet and got the full regulator. Heck, at this rate, I may never have to touch any of the regulators again, if I still have the X for another 16 years!

I know, right? Very glad I had replace them. The clips on the front regulator essentially just fell out as soon as I had removed the window screws. Both rear clips were just hanging on by a tread...plastic cracked every which ways!
