Hi all,

I've got just one key so I purchased an AK90, some key blanks and am able to read my existing key as well as the EWS. I cannot write the transponders that came with the new keys. The new keys are "supposed" to be correct for this car according to the seller.

The transponders are ID44 PCF7935AA. From what I can find, the PCF7935 is for up to 2004 X5. I searched for a while and cannot find a reference to which transponder chip is appropriate for an 05/06 EWS 4.3 equipped car.

Searching for "BMW transponder catalog", I find a list at auto-keys.eu that shows
BMW MINI COOPER
2005 2007
Transponder Philips Crypto 2 | ID46 | PCF7936 ( BMW EWS4 system )

If anyone has any input, it would be much appreciated.
