Congrats on the purchase. I hope to talk the wife into an f15 diesel after her e70 becomes impractical to keep.

I think that has more to do with the sheer numbers on the road, cost of entry to the platform, and many more miles the e53's have travelled than their not being well built vehicles.

I'd bet the f15 forum picks up steam as they age. That is assuming they have not gotten too complicated/difficult to work on.
