I know it's been talked about endlessly. But doing the entire delete and going to the tune (for off-road purposes )............ why is it SSOOOOO much more money than the VW/Audi/Porsche??? I understand there's more labour involved, but the "other" guys seem to be in the $2K range CAN for the full kit and here at the BMW stables its getting up to be twice that say for the entire gut and top JR tune from what I've looked into. Am I missing something ??



And how many of you that have done this "gut" did it yourself? I've done a fair amount of DIY wrenching but since this is a daily driver, don't want to get in over my head and be on the bus taking transit to work at 51 years young due to "issues".

And have any of you done this is stages or just went full hog right out of the door ?
