Any regrets on having the work done? I was warned that here in Canada, if you get caught in a random check by the cops, it's really REALLY bad news. My independent mechanic said it's not worth it to do the emission delete, although he said to definitely get a tune.
0 regrets, absolutely none. Between the delete and tune, and rod sutphin's trans tune, I can honestly tell you that it has transformed into an entirely different vehicle. You don't need any mods to run teh trans tune, and I highly recommend doing that asap. The trans in stock tune is sloshy, slow, and completely unsure of itself. Not to mention the awful cold start behavior.

More power, more efficiency, and more reliability. PM me real quick to talk about emissions testing. Do you know what kind of testing is done during random checks for you guys?

Keep in mind, unless you've got something wrong with your vehicle, it doesn't "roll coal" or anything like that. Sure, at a stop, if you huff the exhaust, you can tell it's a diesel, but you're not smoking down the road.
