Had car on sloping drive and put into drive while holding footbrake. When I release electronic parking brake button car refused to go into drive and changed to P a few times. Message about rolling back and put foot on brake etc.
So pressed auto hold and a message with auto with cross thru it appears.
Tested with ISTA-d no issues except brake fluid low.
However Foxwell shows code on EGS gear switch lever. On engine transmission system.

Also notice when put into park and switching off car jolts to apply parking gear on slope.
Is this normal or do I have a transmission problem waiting to fail. Done 76k miles
