When the car cold no leak when it’s hot it leak then the heat force the oil to pass but can’t say if it’s front back or under.
Did you drop the front diff? It's a lot of work to drop the front diff.
That seal is an o-ring. I thought we were talking about the seal for the driveshaft into the diff.

If it is leaking when it is HOT i would check the vent tube for the front diff to make sure it is not plugged up. There's a reason for that vent tube.
