If you have DSC (not ASC) then steering angle sensor is one typical cause for CAN-bus problems.
I assumed we are talking about M62 with ME7.2, not N62 with ME9? Isn't IVM only on newer ME9? Here should be the supply diagram for ME7.2.

Clav, Man, I wish you were closer to me, you definitely have a true understanding of this! Thank you. I am sure my comments about connecting with IKE were incorrect as far as how I worded that. It just seems that all my msg's on my Foxwell are IKE related. That is what I was referencing. Yes we are working with an 04 N62 motor. And it has an IVM. I was just in the DME box inside the engine compartment and there is not that extra fuse box that others reference. As far as module accesibity, I can not access the SAS, which I thought was odd. I would think that with the appropriate program I could get closer to diagnosing where the issue is specifically. Until your response, I was going to try and disconnect the misc modules on the CAN buss and see if things cleared up. But with your information, it sounds like I should be checking the individual pins in the DME and OBD plug to verify power and grounds. Kind of old school, but makes sense to me.
