So, basically follow these schematics to check functions and report back?
One interesting note, is that the check engine light does not come on. I know it works because in INPA I do a "function check" and it does illuminate. A video on YT with a E46 with same symptoms had same issue. He had some different issues, but the light not coming on was a DME problem.
