Dealers lie.
Dealers are lazy
Dealers can be pretty bad at diagnostics
Dealers are expensive
Why are you using a dealer?
What makes you sure the problem is the 'active tank delivery unit" (there is no such part in your car). What makes you sure they didnt damage the part or something else when they touched it the first time?
Have you asked for DETAILED information on their diagnosis? How are they diagnosing? Which specific codes? What test plans and results?
First things first: ask them for the part number they are replacing.
If it is the SCR delivery pump aka delivery module, (16-19-7-351-665)
the part is $500. I assume also the dealer is lying about how much work it takes to install it.
Anyone know what is actually involved? Can you get at the pump without fully removing the tank?
