You mean, "This is why, WHEN acquitted, he WILL still run for re-election in 2020."

Unfortunately. Though historically, the last 3 times the impeachment process has gone through the House, the opposing party takes the presidency the following election. Maybe the Dems are hoping that trend continues. I'm not sure 3 examples represents a "trend" though and they might be overplaying their hand...

At this point I'm sick of the time waste. They all sound like a bunch of whiny children screaming "no you" at each other from opposing sections of the school yard.
