Has anyone here tried this??

I want a reverse camera for my '05 X5 4.4i, but I've no intention of putting a DVD or other video source in my vehicle, other than the camera.

If this adapter works as advertised, then seems to me I can install the adapter and camera for around $500-$600 total, without the OEM video module/TV tuner.

Does anyone have any experience with this product?
