If you are BT capable...double check to see if your phone and X5 have been unpaired. If you have a phone system, make sure that the in-car phone isn't trying to communicate with a network that isn't available. Try pressing the send/end button which is the button right below the 3 LEDs.
Hi. Thanks for the answer. Mine is a 2006 BMW e53 3.0 D. I did remove the sim card from the car phone recently as it's no longer active maybe will even remove the phone itself as I'm not sure if it's draining battery. Not sure if I do have bluetooth, will try pressing the send button
