Yesterday, I visited my buddy and euro mechanic to use his scanner to reset the engine and O2 adaptations. Since I just purchased this car, who knows how long the car was running around with a ripped PCV diaphram (earlier in my diagnose I had to replace teh whole valve cover) ....not holding my breath, but the car has yet to throw the CEL and there are no pending codes after two 26 miles drive cycles. (Before it would trip the light, like clockwork, 2 miles into the second drive cycle and I would see a pending code about 2 miles into the first drive cycle - also my additive and multiplicative oxygen sensor values where all over the map)

Will update if it returns.


* ARD, I actually forgot to run the VANOS test sequence while I had his scanner....I will have to do that if and when the CEL comes back on)
