Clockwork is on a distinguished road
UPDATE:
So I got a 88.9mm (3" ) OD exhaust piece and cut a 3cm long section and inserted it into the black tubing, by use of a heat gun. It's a super snug fit. I then pressed the silicone adapter back on and hose clamped and tested. The metal insert does a perfect job at making the plastic tube rigid! There is some metal sticking out but it doesn't interfere with the throttle body as the length of the silicone adapter is much longer. Bolted the e70 N62B48 throttle body on, and pressed the silicone adapter on then connected the other end of MAF and tightened all hose clamps.
Amazing fit!! It SLIGHTLY presses up against the electric fan housing but causes ZERO concerns.
I have my low end torque back.
