just went thru your thread, very nice build, and details. This is my First turbo bmw, had a CLS 55 before this, then a 740i Sport, and a e36 M3 Cosmos black on black. On my Amg i had a laptop with STAR/DAS xentry to do everything that i purchased with everything pre installed and ready to do what ever. Tried to install inpa and ista but could not get it to work for me with my laptop. I dont know if it was a bad link or missed something? This car is starting to frustrate me ive put on less than 600 miles and have done nothing but wrenched on it since day one, doing maintenance crap. Glow plugs, controller, cbu cleaning, thermostat, silicone lines, swirl flap delete, map sensor, all new gaskets and seals for everything ive removed. Previous owner also maintained vehicle with open check book, but gave up due to all the crap i needed to do im guessing... My main goal is to get this thing running as it should so i can get it though emissions and then its time to delete, with all the parts sitting on my shelf. Going to do all the drive line fluids and associated filters as well. FCP euro is making a fortune off me the last few weeks lol.

Anyways all this boost crap started after doing the thermostat, it was stuck open so would not allow dpf to regenerate, once i put new thermostat and coolant, it now functions as should, and first time it did dpf regen, went into limp mode due to clogged dpf. Was told on the facebook diesel page to force dpf regens till it cleared it self out, and to also do a back pressure test... so i did. Boom problem solved with dpf, but upon doing back pressure test, im reading single digits through the rpm range,and shortly after my fun car turned it a slug under 2500 rpm.... also i noticed exhaust fumes leaking into my cabin if car sits stationary for a minute or 2. Any of these thing have any correlation? I might vac today, going to test all the actuators and stuff as tune my euro did, waiting on my bladder to come in to stuff in the intake as well as evap smoke machine so i can test for leaks,
