I had the AFE intake on my 4.4 for about 4-5 months 5-6k miles on it now and I noticed that the AFE blue filter is starting to fade to a yellowish color. I know that the blue color on the filter is the oil on it but does this mean I need to clean and re oil it so soon?? My brother has AFE intake too and he told me when he cleaned it, the filter turned out to be white and the blue oil makes it blue.. My filter is not all faded just certain part of it..
