Actually I think the satin black wrap is far superior to wood grain and a significant savings over a replacement wood trim set. My car is black on black, and I changed the shifter to a BMW black leather wrapped unit too. My original trim is worthless as it is cracked in multiple places on every piece. Don't know how rims hijacked this thread but for the record mine are OEM and like new, even after a quarter million miles. I'll keep looking for a cosmos black trim set but until I find one at a reasonable cost the 3M wrap was a HUGE upgrade.
