As for your issue it may be just the red boost hose from turbos to intercooler. It’s common for them to go bad and leak but then you should have a noticeable boost leak. Or just the intake gasket to the turbo. Blow by accumulates in that tube and can leak when the donut seal dries out and cracks. Needing a new intercooler for a oil leak seems odd.
