I work for a wholesale company and BMW valve covers sell like it had a cure for coronavirus
To be fair, the N63's covers sell nowhere near as fast as the others but they still do sell.
You said the mechanic "thinks" its warped. Ask him to make sure its that before taking the plunge I guess.
