and do youreself a favor and stay the hell away from Dell laptops. You might pay a bit more for a Thinkpad, but you'll pay more for the dell in the long run in time spent on the phone with tech support.

I have a thinkpad 600x, t41 and t43 and have had zero problems will all 3 (they're also my company standard, the entire sales force and executive staff have them). Check out newegg or buy.com for lenovo thinkpads, I think you'll be happier in the long run.
