I'm also wondering if the DAB module might be a bit old school now as it doesn't support DAB+ which might explain why I got no signal outside the UK in Europe. I might look into options for DAB+ and whether the aerial can be reused for that. There are some nice looking android head units that replace the screen with a touch screen and sit over the top of CCC so you can switch between systems.
