Update: might have borked something. Truck will no longer idle in forward or reverse gears. Just bogs down and shuts off. Feels very similar to letting the clutch out without giving gas in a manual car. This happened during a manual shifting short drive using gears 1-3. No issues for most of the drive until heading back home.

Scanned for codes. No codes in the ECU or the TCM (mechatronics). Nothing. Not even the 4f89 because I never used 4th gear. Going to check the mechatronics connection for debris or not being fully seated. I am not going to drop the pan just yet as I don't hear any funny noises from the trans. Hopefully I haven't let the genie escape the trans but we'll see.
