Had almost that exact thought myself earlier. Maybe something is clogged/jammed preventing the converter clutches from doing their thing. Going to proceed with the Valvoline flush and see what happens.

I just keep reminding myself it was probably an e clutch bushing problem to begin with and that all this is a hail Mary anyway. Then I take a shot and I'm okay again.

At the very least, this is an interesting experiment.
