I agree that bats have been involved in spreading many bad viruses to man. Different viruses have different characteristics COVID 19 is really bad one. How mobile we are is a big contributor to viruses impacting more of the world don't you think?

Two, they say it is a natural occurring virus. Then why don’t human beings have a natural immunity to it. We’re all supposed to believe that this virus just popped out of the wood works one day, so to speak.

A naturally occurring virus is different than a natural immunity. Immunity comes from having antibodies from having the disease, vaccinations etc. Right?

They say, the location of what they call the first infection, happened in a market in Wuhan. The thing is, that market is within a close distance to a lab. A lab where viral studies are performed. The break down of this virus revealed some pretty nasty components. Hard to believe nature put these components into one virus.

This virus is certainly a bad one. WH house is investigating whether virus is manmade. Comments from experts I have heard say it is not. I'll go with the scientists on this one.

So the first case, if they became sick from a bat? Why weren’t they hospitalized for food poisoning, or from touching something, not washing their hands and ending up with dysentery.? We’re all supposed to believe that the individual from the first original case, stood to close to bats and again got the whole world sick.

I don't understand your point about food poisoning, not washing hands etc.
Why would you have to be close to a bat?

And, why the major shock to the global economy. Ok, people are getting sick and dying. But unfortunately, it happens every minute on earth. But again, why the loss of trillions in our stock market from a natural occurring virus? Wouldn’t it be prudent to preserve wealth? Now we don’t only have to recover from a virus, we now have to recover financially. Come on, give me a break, I wasn’t born yesterday.

The impacts to the economy and stock market are cause and effect. COVID 19 is the cause and the effects are the negative impact to to the economy and stock market. The economy shock was because the country was closed and other countries had already closed that traded with us. The stock market dropped because of impending impact to our economy, negative effect on big companies, the economies of other countries all ready impacted, the market view of how the virus was being addressed, there was no known end in sight, no way to know how many people would get sick or die, etc.

The big one, the masks. From the beginning they said nothing can totally filter this virus. But, wearing a mask helps with the transmission of the virus. I’ll agree with that.

But, let’s dig deeper. Essential operations, grocery stores, hardware stores, gas stations, banks, etc. In Houston I’ve seen hoards of people in the hardware stores, and grocery stores. Masks, gloves the whole nine. Now to me with the exception of bars, and gyms. You know places that are easy to transmit illnesses, why can’t the same practice as the hardware store apply to all other business.

State governors decide who opens or remains closed. Different states can have different criterial. Why are Dallas and Houston opening anything?

The science says, the masks and gloves work. If it’s safe to do business in a grocery store, why isn’t it safe to business in a clothing store, or electronics store? Or, for that matter Overboost says he operates his own business. Why can’t he practice what science says is a safe way to do business, and continue operations?

That is the decision of each individual governor. I don't know the rationales but my guess is their conclusions were based on how likely people will be infected. If Overboost can't go back to work it should be because the guidelines in his area but you will have to ask him.

Why a complete shutdown of the most powerful county in the world?

I don't understand how our power matters unless we had the power unless we had the power stop the virus and didn't use it. Did we use it and fail?

Why does the United States have the most cases in the world, when this started in China? And don’t rely on, oh we didn’t do enough.

The first step the US made was address flights from China which was already too late. At that time there were no restrictions on arrivals from Europe to find those infected. To this day the President is still telling us it is not as bad as the experts say, thus experts are too careful what they can say and what they dare correct. This virus is brand new. We are learning a lot but we are a long way away from learning enough to do everything correctly. There are no standards for a plan for reopening from WH. I would say the CDC is far more qualified to prepare a plan than our Governor, wouldn't you agree? And, it is true that we didn't do enough soon enough and still are not capable of the amount of testing and tracking per the guidelines.

BC, do a thorough investigation into these simple matters using the available reporting, and you will find inconsistencies.

If there are inconsistencies and conflicts in the accounts that have been reported, you probably have not received the entire truth.

It could be true that conflicting information indicates there are falsehoods. Couldn't it mean that there are only differences of opinion, some bogus information out there, political spins, fake news etc that is just confusing?

One day we will have a clearer perspective. JMHO...
